In these three works from different stages of Joseph Haydn’s
career, the dialogue between soloists and orchestra takes centre
stage. The energy of the Horn Concerto, the playful interplay
of violin and harpsichord, and the rich sound of the Sinfonia
concertante reveal the composer’s versatility. Celebrating its
45th anniversary, Capella Savaria brings these works to life
on period instruments with its distinguished soloists.
